Filings, phone numbers and speed, by state
Counted from the database for the last 30 days, and recalculated every few minutes. A phone number is only added when a public map listing matches the venue's street address and name, so states that don't publish phones on the filing carry fewer.
| State | Filings, 30 days | With a phone | Days from filing to inbox | Plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Texas | 993 | 0% | 2 | National |
| Florida | 1,398 | 85% | 2 | Market or National |
| California | 355 | 0% | 2 | National |
| Oklahoma | 178 | 1% | 1 | National |
| Oregon | 51 | 0% | 12 | National |
| New York | 2,707 | 18% | 1 | Market or National |
| Missouri | 555 | 0% | 3 | National |
| Illinois (Chicago) | 73 | 5% | 1 | National |
| North Carolina (Wake County) | 32 | 78% | 16 | National |
| Ohio (Columbus) | 23 | 96% | 16 | National |
| Virginia (Fairfax County) | 29 | 0% | 15 | National |
| Kentucky (Louisville) | 10 | 0% | 26 | National |
Why can Market only be bought for Florida and New York? Those are the states where enough filings carry a phone number to be worth $49 on their own. The others are in National and on the free state pages.

Where does the data come from?
State alcohol boards (Texas TABC, California ABC, Florida DBPR, Oklahoma ABLE, Oregon OLCC, New York SLA, Missouri ATC), health departments (NYC DOHMH, Florida Hotels & Restaurants) and city licensing (Chicago). All public, and every source is listed with its last update on the sources page.
Couldn't I get this from the agencies myself?
Yes, it's all public. It is spread across more than a dozen government data feeds in different formats, some of which only load in a real browser. We read all of them every morning, remove duplicates, sort each venue into a category, look up its phone number, and put the earliest stages first. If you'd rather do that yourself, the sources page links every one.
How fast is it?
You get a filing the morning after the agency publishes it. Agencies usually publish a filing 1 to 2 days after its date, so most rows reach you within 2 days of being filed. The table above shows the real figure for each state.
Is every record matched to a phone number?
No. Florida and New York City publish some contact details on the filing; most states don't. We match the rest against public map listings and only add a phone when the street address and name agree. The table above shows how many filings actually had one last month.
I'm a contractor. Can I get only the earliest filings?
Yes. On your account page, tick Plans filed and your morning email only carries kitchens whose plans are still with the health department, usually months before opening. Florida publishes plan reviews; here is last week's sample.
Can I switch states?
Yes, any time from your account page. Market plans hold one state at a time.
Can I cancel?
One click on the account page, effective at the end of the period. No email or call needed.
Do you sell my details or contact the venues?
No. Your details are used to deliver the feed and bill you. We never contact the venues in the data.
